The Aroostook County Historical and Art Museum of Houlton was founded by Ransford W. Shaw in 1938. Major collections include the Ricker Room, Military Room, Sarah Houlton Kitchen, E. B. White Photograph Collection, and the Houlton German Prisoner-of-war Collection.
